Program areas at The Alliance for Longevity Initiatives
Between June 2022 and May 2023, Advocacy for Longevity Initiatives (A4LI) spearheaded the formation of the Longevity Science Caucus, fostering bipartisan dialogue and raising legislative awareness on longevity science. Our advocacy was instrumental in the passage of SB 422 in Montana, a legislative victory that supports the research and development in the longevity field. Additionally, the publication of the Advanced Approval Pathway for Longevity Medicines whitepaper laid the groundwork for innovative regulatory approaches, advocating for the accelerated development of longevity medicines. This document has significantly influenced regulatory bodies, industry stakeholders, and the scientific community, underscoring A4LI's pivotal role in shaping the future of longevity medicine. These efforts collectively underscore our commitment to extending healthy lifespans and enhancing quality of life through scientific breakthroughs and policy innovation.
