Covid-19 education and outreach - program to help The disability community through The covid-19 pandemic through setting up a statewide task force, develop strategies and build capacity for accessible covid-19 testing sites, mobile testing and vaccine distributions, distribution of personal protective equipment, contact tracing, promotion of other mitigation efforts, develop accessible and inclusive e-learning content to increase educational awareness around The covid-19 disease and vaccines and develop covid-19 educational and outreach materials.
Adept/discovery grant - this grant is to implement The inclusive practices for young adult employment pilot program to transition-age students in Pennsylvania. This program will hire and train local consultants to offer The discovery customized employment process at high schools for students with complex needs.
Include me from The start - school age - this grant is used to provide training and on-site technical assistance to student focused teams from identified Pennsylvania school districts to increase their capacity to educate kindergarten through twelfth grade students with significant disabilities in general education classrooms with supplementary aid services for 80% or more of The school day.
Association of community rehabilitation coordinator's (acre) certificate training program - program to provide employment support providers in Pennsylvania The opportunity to obtain multiple certifications. Our state office supports our chapters and The general public by coordinating strategic, grassroots advocacy efforts; providing policy analysis/trainings and overall support to our local chapter's executive directors. Expenses: 114,375 revenues: 328,316 new venture grant - this grant is used to fund The organization's school's work campaign-ensuring proper special education funding in Pennsylvania project. Expenses: 30,000 revenues: 30,000 disability advocacy fund - program to maximize resources in employment program. Expenses: 15,000 revenues: 15,000 self-advocacy: inclusive declarations of independent truth - this grant is used to create a positive social experience for students to get to know, receive, and accept diverse students with intellectual and developmental disabilities without bias or ignorance.
