New Visions served approximately 36 individuals in day services, receiving opportunities for ongoing skills training and opportunities for community inclusion based on their individual desire and goals. This program is funded through Medicaid Waiver Services, Department of Mental Health, United Way, grants, and community support.
Employment Services served approximately 476 individuals with intellectual and developmental delays through assessments, job coaching, long term support services, Project Search, and Pre-Educational Transitional Services; for job readiness, job placement, job supports, and college readiness training. This program is funded through Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services / Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Project Search, United Way, grants and community supports.
Children's Services served approximately 951 children and families through early intervention evaluations, home visits, parent and caregiver training and Tales for Tots. Services included physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, special instruction, service coordination, and Spanish language interpretation. Nutrition services were also provided through grants. This program is funded through Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, Department of Mental Health, Medicaid, United Way, grants, and community support.
Community Services- Community Support Services provides a variety of support to individuals and their families, including information and referral, resource information, community workshops, advocacy services and advocacy training for individuals with developmental disabilities. During the year ended September 30, 2024, approximately 302 individuals received services in this program.This program is fully funded through United Way, grants and community support
