The Archaeological Conservancy acquires and preserves America's most important archaeological sites. The Conservancy identifies endangered sites, acquires the property, secures it, and stabilizes the cultural resources. During the year ended July 31, 2022, the Conservancy completed the acquisition of eight endangered sites which are now managed as archaeological preserves. Additionally, they published four issues of "American Archaeology" magazine with a total distribution of approximately 25,000 copies per issue. Acquisition, conservation, and management: during The year ended july 31, 2023, The Conservancy completed The acquisition of 17 endangered Archaeological sites which are now managed as Archaeological preserves. Eighteen more sites and conservation easements are in various stages of acquisition. In all, The Conservancy has preserved over 567 Archaeological sites across The country, maintaining security and providing stabilization and other maintenance services on The preserves.
Education: during The year ended july 31, 2023, The Conservancy published four issues of "american archaeology" magazine, which were distributed throughout The united states with a total distribution of approximately 25,000 copies per issue. In addition, six Archaeological travel seminars were conducted during The fiscal year.
