THE SPAY NEUTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FUNDED APPROXIMATELY 589 FREE SURGERIES, 504 free e-collars, 592 free take-home pain medications, and 911 free vaccines TO FAMILIES WITH LIMITED, OR NO ACCESS, TO VETERINARY CARE. THE SHELTER INTERVENTION PROGRAMS ASSISTED OVER 1,399 PETS, ALLOWING THEM TO REMAIN WITH THEIR FAMILIES. BOTH PROGRAMS IMPACTED BOTH SHELTER INTAKE AND EUTHANASIA WITHIN MARICOPA COUNTY ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL, WHILE POSITIVELY IMPACTING LOW-INCOME FAMILIES, AND FAMILIES IN CRISIS.
