Program areas at The Association of Boarding Schools
The Association of Boarding Schools ("tabs") provides professional learning, timely data, and strategic insights to over 200 Boarding Schools throughout north america and around The world. Member benefits are delivered via in-person events, virtual gatherings and webinars, and through The tabs.org website. The organization also works to publicize member Schools to prospective families and students around The world via its boardingschools.com website.
Tabs also offers annual student recruitment fairs in various international (i.e., non-north america) locations. These fairs provide professional development for admissions and enrollment professionals, bringing them into contact with prospective families and students, and agents and educational consultants, and providing critical cultural background and market briefings relevant to each location.
Professional learning offerings include The flagship annual conference which hosts approximately 800 attendees for sessions and keynotes on topics of relevance to Boarding Schools. Tabs also offers a credential program for Boarding school professionals, highlighting The knowledge and skills that are foundational to those who work with students in a residential setting. Additional professional learning occurs through in-person events and workshops for specific audiences (e.g., residential life leaders, dei practitioners), webinars, and research and data reports.
