Program areas at The Bridge of Lubbock
The organization provides support to individuals and families in low income areas by making basic necessities and services available. The primary service is the Bridge 2 Success B2S program. It is a free Christian mentoring program for at-risk students in the 6th grade and higher. The goals of B2s are to mold students into future leaders by developing their minds, bodies and souls as well as to empower students to make better choices so they can become healthy, productive members of our community.
Other outreach programs include a free clothes closet for families in need. Project Prom distributes free, gently used prom dresses and accessories to young ladies who are unable to afford their own.
Seasoned With Love is the catering component of this program and provides a revenue stream while also providing jobs to local men and women in the process of rebuilding thier lives.
