Program areas at The Cable Center
Barco library: in 2022, efforts continued in collecting and development of The world's largest collection of printed resources and equipment exclusively regarding The Cable industry. The collection is routinely consulted by professionals working on wide ranging projects - from documentaries and news productions to book and publications. Included in The barco library holdings are The following types of materials: audio and video recordings that tell The stories of our industry's icons and influencers; cable-specific books and industry-specific trade periodicals; equipment and artifacts tracing The technological advances of The Cable industry; more than 120 collections containing The correspondence, memoranda drawings and other papers of industry notables; original prints, negatives, slides and digital photos chronicling The pictorial history of The Cable industry; and items commemorating The industry's people, organizations and events. There is also a wide array of videos featuring programs, Cable shows, training and people involved in The Cable industry.
The Cable Center's intrapreneurship academy (ia) provides Cable and connectivity industry rising stars with The skills and mindset to become intrapreneurs: to envision and effect change and to innovate within their organizations' existing corporate structures. We believe innovation can be applied in any facet of your work - processes, products, programs, people and technologies.
Customer experience management and The Cable Center customer care committee (c5): The Center has been at The forefront of The customer experience movement for more than a decade and strives to be The home of thought leadership and research regarding customer experience.
