Program areas at The Caregiver Club

Companion outings socialization is a critical piece of brain health. These st. louis based program outings are designed for both individuals to feel supported and engage with others in a small, low-stress environment. We served 90 caregivers and alzheimer's individuals.
Dementia friendly dining - we have partnered with local st. louis restaurants to train and support their establishments in dementia best practices. We believe going out to eat should not be stressful. We are working with local restaurants to train their staff on dementia communication best practices and giving tips and advice to restaurants to better serve this population.
Caregiver respite initiative - nominated caregivers receive appreciation gifts and recognition certificates; several will receive monetary support. This initiative validates and supports The tireless work of caregivers. We served 49 caregivers during 2023.
