IT OFFERS THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS AFTER SCHOOL LITERACY & TUTORING -bilingual tutoring and literacy program for k-5 students. TRUE 2 LIFE - treats the symptons of violence and causes of gun violence. SENIORS ON THE MOVE - hosts bingo nights and organizes various field trips. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS- partners with various agencies offering public informations and assistance. FATHERHOOD & MENTORING - offers a vital mentorship and fatherhood component to the Cure Violence program. TAEKWONDO - partners with organization that offers TaeKwonDo. YOUTH BUILD IMPACT - a champion of opportunity youth, helping build the skillsets, mindsets that lead to employability, community leadership,and positive change. SPECTRUM LEARNING LAB - a computer learning program. PRINCES TO KINGS - a mentorship program focused on uplifted the young men in our community. EMPOWER-HER - a mentoring sisterhood group which aims to empower girls age 13 to 18 to inpire, motivate, and encorage them to the best vison of themselves. The Mayor's Action Plan (MAP) - aims to create an environment where residents feel safe, empowered, and connected to their neighborhoods. THE VICTIMS OF CRIME ADVOCATES(VOCA)- to help victims of crime bridge the gaps and avoid the pitfalls that prevent victims from getting needed services in a timely manner. ATLAS - to improve public safety and to enhance the capacity of community - based organizations to serve people at the highest risk of violence. COVID-19 DISPARITIES GRANT - to support community based organizations with deep neighboods most impacted by COVID-19 and long-standing racial/ethnic inequities to increase access to COVID-19 services and improve overall health. HIV HEALTH SERVICES - to host awareness compaigns to increase access to needed resources by individuals experiencing HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, or other STIs,and to decrease the transmission of such infections within the community.
