Program areas at The Christian Broadcasting Network

Domestic production and airing of Christian television programming, internet and radio: The 700 club, a live television program that airs weekdays from cbn broadcast facilities, is The primary program used by cbn to preach The gospel of jesus christ. Cbn is also an innovator in its use of cbn.com to preach The gospel of jesus via The internet. Cbn combines both forms of media, television and internet, in The cutting-edge program 700 club interactive. Cbn launched The cbn news channel, The first 24-hour Christian television news channel, on october 1, 2018. See schedule o for more details. (continued on schedule o)
The prayer center is a department of cbn that provides scripture based prayer, biblical literature, account service, and product orders to people through cbn's telephone prayer line, social media portals, and emails. It also performs outbound calling for ministry and fundraising purposes. In 2023, The prayer center department handled 379,306 outbound and 1,666,612 inbound phone calls. A total of 2,327 people prayed The prayer of salvation with our prayer center employees and 4,220 people rededicated their life to christ. See schedule o for more details. Prayer center employees make outgoing phone calls, answer incoming calls and engage with The online community with prayer from a faith based perspective. Prayer center employees also provide relevant links to cbn's free resources for further ministry.in 2023, The prayer center department handled 379,306 outbound and 1,666,612 inbound phone calls with a total of 2,045,918 calls. A total of 2,327 people prayed The prayer of salvation with our prayer center employees and 4,220 people rededicated their life to christ. The department recorded 1,400,972 prayer requests which were taken through inbound and outbound calls. The goal of The prayer center is to provide compassionate prayer, ministry, and outstanding customer service on every interaction with callers.
International outreach: in 2023, cbn produced programming and other content in 92 different languages, and broadcast programs to audiences in 168 countries and territories. Since inception, cbn has worked in 163 foreign languages and dialects. See schedule o for more details. To achieve this, cbn's innovative approach focuses on The development of local cbn centers and partnerships with local Christian groups. These cbn centers, which provide local outreach through The use of recurring television, radio, internet, and video programming, are key to The integrity of cbn's worldwide evangelism efforts and have proven a powerful outreach tool that builds trust and a solid viewership base. The cultivation of partnerships with local Christian organizations is another key strategy to maximize resources and The impact of cbn media evangelism and community-based humanitarian outreaches.cbn now has 68 episodes of a new version of The cbn animation, superbook, a series of animated bible stories cbn originally produced in japan in The early 1980's. The modern superbook series brings The life-changing stories of The bible to life and teaches values such as courage, loyalty and faith to The children of The world in their native language. In addition, cbn has completed 32 superbook explorer packages which include special editions of episodes plus special features which allow families to better study The stories. In addition, we have 9 superbook special episodes that include extra resources such as actvities and discussion guides for families to enjoy. Furthermore, we have completed 335 gizmo bible bytes that offer short, exciting bible lessons and superverses, as well as 13 superbook express episodes that feature gizmo and explore a superbook bible story and what it means for us today through an engaging object lesson. Cbn has or is working on 70 language and dialect translations of one or more episodes of this series, as well as superbook websites in various languages, 16 superbook app languages, a sunday school curriculum now in 20 languages, and other cbn animation related projects. Cbn focuses its global evangelistic outreach in The following regions: central america and The caribbean, south america, sub-saharan africa, The middle east and north africa, india, indonesia, europe, southeast asia, china, russia, and The former soviet union states. In 2023 cbn programs and other content were produced in 92 languages and dialects and have been produced in 163 foreign languages and dialects in total over The years. In 2023, cbn programs were broadcast to audiences in 168 countries and territories.orphan's promise is cbn's outreach program to orphaned and at-risk children around The world. The organization seeks to meet The emotional, intellectual, physical, social and spiritual needs through education, training and nutrition programs, feeding solutions, discipleship efforts, family care programs, community transformation projects, and anti-trafficking programs. In 2023, orphan's promise helped thousands of vulnerable children in The united states and 72 other countries and territories throughout africa, asia, latin america, europe, and former soviet union countries.thanks to its longstanding presence in ukraine, orphan's promise was able to respond immediately to The russian assault when it began in late february 2022. The organization quickly transformed its training centers across The country into makeshift refugee shelters to house and feed displaced ukranians as they headed into The western part of The country and into poland. In addition to The refugee crisis response, op continued its well-established daily outreach efforts to children at The centers across The country in fy24. In several communities destroyed by The russian onslaught, orphan's promise staff members helped facilitate The evacuation of children from their centers to safety in other ukranian cities. As The war continued and more areas were evacuated, orphan's promise continued receiving refugees and supplying them with bags of food and hygiene items. Orphan's promise served refugees both inside ukraine and across The border in poland, helping them find safety, shelter, and sustenance.
Cbn's other program services consists of humanitarian relief activities through its support of affiliate operation blessing international relief and development corporation (ob) and donations to others. See below for information regarding ob's international relief, hunger strike force and domestic disaster relief programs plus cbn's helping The home front initiative which helps active duty military families. International relief: during fy24, ob held international medical brigades that provided free medical care including general medical and dental services. Ob also distributed medicine and medical supplies to partners around The world, which went to outfit resource poor areas benefiting children and adults alike. Ob provided many life-changing surgeries such as cleft lip and palate, cataract and more to those in need. Ob also equips community members to become community health volunteers who can provide basic lifesaving skills to members of their community for injury, illness, and more. Operation blessing was instrumental in feeding hungry people around The world. To help people put food on The table, operation blessing equipped individuals with marketable job skills, small business opportunities, and lifeskills in countries such as honduras, india, guatemala, and thailand. From training in food production and animal husbandry to beautician skills and sewing centers, ob provided those in need with The resources and skills to provide for their families and strengthen communities through income generation. During fy24, ob responded to natural disasters and human crises around The world. This includes responding to disasters in The following 13 countries: chile, israel, japan, kenya, mexico, morocco, myanmar, nigeria, The philippines, poland, south africa, turkey, and ukraine. In countries around The world, ob utilized a variety of techniques to provide access to water in communities through wells and community water systems, disinfecting water through point of use chlorine generation devices, and water filtration.in The united states, ob's fleet of hunger strike force tractor-trailers traveled throughout The country and distributed more than 28 million pounds of food and beverages to families in need. By working closely with food processing companies, growers and manufacturers, ob taps into america's surplus and acquires corporate donations of food staples and relief products, delivering much-needed food and relief supplies to disadvantaged families and disaster victims.a first responder in times of disaster, operation blessing's domestic disaster relief team responded to 18 u.s. disasters in fy24. Operation blessing's domestic disaster relief team assisted victims of wildfires in maui as well as Texas, flooding in Florida and California, assorted storms and tornados throughout The midwest and southeast, and hurricane idalia in Florida. In 2014, gordon robertson, ceo and president of The Christian Broadcasting Network (cbn), recognized The need to help military families. "when i heard about The needs, i went to The lord and asked, 'what can we do? How can we start meeting The needs?'" As a ministry arm of cbn, helping The home front was launched, partnering with local churches and ministries to support military families. When we think about The military, we are reminded of those who protect our country. Here at home, their families are serving, too. We want to recognize and honor their service. Our vision is to provide financial support through ministries and churches near every military installation across The united states to assist active-duty military families. While The church identifies The challenges being faced and does The hands-on ministry, hhf meets The financial need to help military families with hardships and give them a fresh start.
