In the calendar year 2023 - There were numerous requests from families in Richmond County for wheel chair ramps. $16,230 was donated to Pee Dee Baptist Church to build 22 wheel chair ramps, Hamlet Second Baptist Church received $24,741 to build 26 ramps, and Pine Grove Baptist Church received $3,000 to build 5 ramps. $9,000 was provided to 5 families to help with living expenses and medical costs. $3,000 was given the local high school and community college to provide 3 scholarships. $500 was given to help provide shoes for underprivileged children. $2,000 was given to the local library for the SRP/Story time program, and clothing and shoes valued at $293 was given to the Red Cross and local DSS.
