Program areas at The Church Initiative
This fiscal year, we equipped and partnered with 7,993 churches to offer over 17,500 GriefShare and DivorceCare support groups, helping over 150,000 people. We also provided churches with 278,457 participant workbooks, which they distribute to their DivorceCare and GriefShare group members. Additionally, 7,993 ministry partners (churches) utilized our free coaching, resulting in 28,414 coaching moments. We also recruited over 2,500 former group members to serve on, or start, church-based GriefShare and DivorceCare teams. In 2023, we released the 4th edition of GriefShare. Over 40,000 hurting people received our scripture-saturated daily-email devotions. And, through our materials, the gospel was shared with over 150,000 people.
