Housing opportunities for people with aids (hopwa)the Community Restoration Project Corporation (crp) through a partnership with united way of greater atlanta provided rental, mortgage and utility assistance for individuals who met eligibility under hopwa guidelines, referrals for this Project come from city of atlanta, hopwa central intake, grady, emory, aid atlanta and other hiv/aids clinics.
Spark prize collaborativecrp through a partnership with united way of greater atlanta provides spark prize grants to nonprofits doing survivor work in The areas of domestic violence and human trafficking. Grants range from $2,500-$28,000.
Permanent housingcrp provides permanent housing to individuals who enter through our various programs. Our permanent housing program provides fully furnished 2-bedroom apartments in a shared living space with a roommate of The same sex. Our tenants pay one rate, which includes their utilities. Once housed participants have at their disposal a host of other programs that are offered by crp that will help them become self-sufficient.
Employmentcrp-training is a program designed to help formally homeless men and women get a full-time job. These individuals often have barriers that prevent them from getting employed. Our staffing business gives them The opportunity to work for an employer through cpr-training and gain The tools they need to acquire and maintain full-time employment.
V.i.t.a (volunteer income tax assistance)crp partnered with united way of greater atlanta to provide low-to-moderate income ($60,000 and under) metro atlantas working families free tax prep through The volunteer income tax assistance (vita) and myfree taxes programs. Taxes are prepared by irs trained and certified volunteers for free.
H2housinghelping hand housing (h2h) is a savings and housing program. Participants must have school aged children, have lived in an extended stay motel for at least 30 days. This program is an 8 month direct cash transfer program where participants can receive up to $500 per month for 8 months. Participants must adhere to The strict program guidelines to receive The payout each month. The participants must be permanently housed by month 4 and save a minimum of $1,000 by The end of The program.

The high weekly rates to live in a motel room does not allow for The family to save enough money for deposit and first months rent to be able to move forward. This program helps families with school aged children with deposit and first months rent up to $2,500 move into an apartment or rent a single family home.

Financial achievement clubcrp financial achievement club (fac) is a 6-month financial literacy course that teaches individuals about budgeting, saving, credit, investing and homebuying. The purpose of The course is to lead individuals to financial freedom. The goal is to have each participant save $500 during The course. If a participant successfully completes The course they can earn incentives up to $700.
