Description
The Dream Program empowers children from affordable housing neighborhoods to achieve their dreams. It builds communities of families and college students that help children recognize their options, make informed decisions, and achieve their goals. The program offers youth development opportunities to over 600 young individuals living in affordable housing communities across Vermont, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. These opportunities include weekly mentoring for youth aged five to 18 and after-school enrichment programs.

Program areas at The Dream Program

The Dream Program provides youth development opportunities to over 600 youth who live in affordable housing communities across Vermont, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. This includes weekly mentoring for youth ages 5 to 18, afterschool enrichment opportunities inluding homework help, as well as, summer enrichment programming which includes on-site activities such as arts and crafts, games, tutoring, and small trips to local educational and recreational venues. The Dream Program also runs camp Dream, a rustic overnight camp experience located on metcalf pond in northern Vermont where youth can participate in activities such as hiking, swimming, gardening, and other environmental education activities.
