We are dedicated to creating a kind, diverse, effective, and robust fire management organization supporting fire resiliency in The face of climate change, and The resulting social and ecological benefits. We will achieve these outcomes through increasing The pace and scale of prescribed fire and managed fire, and where appropriate, suppression of wildfires. We endeavor to create The enabling conditions for fire resiliency and socially just fire management through workforce development, particularly for under-served and under-represented populations, community planning efforts, direct fire operations, policy engagement, and partnership with key stakeholders.
