Through The procurement technical assistance center (ptac), which is now known as The south central Michigan apex accelerator (apex), over 88.8 million in federal and state contracts were awarded to Jackson county companies in 2023. Apex provides services to The counties of clinton, eaton, hillsdale, ingham, Jackson, and lenawee counties, and they have regularly staffed offices in Jackson, at The Enterprise Group, and lansing with satelite offices located in litchfield and adrian.
