The wcfd together provides Fire and rescue services to the residents of West Chester, thornbury township (Chester county), and portions of West goshen, westtown, birmingham and east bradford townships. The West Chester Fire district covers about 26.5 square miles. As the community has grown, so has the demand for an expanding set of emergency services.
