Program areas at The Fountain Charitable Foundation
Improving The lives of at-risk youth and young adults and their families in eastern Iowa by providing community support, growth and development, safe environments for individuals to live and learn and positive opportunities for growth and advancement
In order for our program participants to re-enter The world, they need to be able to enter The workforce. Companies parter with us and pay a fee in exchange for each participants labor. The labor provides work skills and gives our participants a means of staying busy as well as skills to assist them with entering The workforce once they are finished with rehabilitation.
Low income apartments were purchased in order to provide living quarters for patients who have graduated from The first part of The rehabilitation process. The majority of these apartments are provided at low cost (based on The tenants income) to The tenant, to provide living space while The patient re-enters The workforce.
