"Roanoke Chowan Christian Womens Job Corps helps women in need by providing job skills, education, and employment opportunities. They offer a Transitional House that accommodates up to three women and their children at no cost as they work towards achieving their goals of finishing education, finding jobs, and obtaining an apartment. The organization also covers all general expenses for classes, meals, overhead, gas cards for students, and tuition assistance if no other help is available. This year alone, they have aided approximately 22 women.".
