The Gentry Foundation seeks to make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families by decreasing the average age of autism diagnosis in Arizona. They seek out and identify young children throughout the state who may be impacted by an autism spectrum disorder and offer them access to free, high quality evaluations necessary for qualification. In 2022, 55 low-income families received scholarships to receive diagnostic evaluations for their child, while raising awareness of the need for early intervention. The foundation is located in Phoenix, AZ.

Program areas at The Gentry Foundation

In 2023 The Gentry Foundation awarded 356 autism spectrum disorder evaluations of those awarded, 305 families utilized The reward. We also launched our family liaison program, which awards 5 hours of one-on-one support with a family liaison to any of our scholarship-recipient-families whose child receives an autism diagnosis. This support is be utilized to help families navigate local disability resources and services. The family liaison program was utilized by 49 families in 2023.
