Program areas at Gifted Education Foundation Corporation
During the first years of operations (2012-2015), the gifted education foundation provided 29 students from low-income communities throughout metro Atlanta with over 100 hours of college readiness and career skills training, primarily at Emory University. After just three years, the organization has supported 700+ students with more than 200 hours of college, career and life readiness skills development. Additionally, while working with more than 120 of these students very closely, they have managed to accumulate more than $18.7 million in scholarships and subsidized funding along with having a 100% acceptance rate to attend accredited, 4-year academic institutions. The gifted foundation will support these students with matriculation from college into the marketplace. Upon the completion of our intangibles curriculum, we now have the capacity to reach thousands of students across the united states via our corporate and community partners. In 2015, the organization began its expansion throughout metro Atlanta along with expansion in southern California and Memphis, TN. Additionally, we are also focusing on developing a career pipeline for some of the most talented students in the country in support of filling the void that exists in S.T.E.M. career fields. Our corporate partners include the U.S. News and Stem Solutions Conference, the Chick-Fil-A Foundation, the SunTrust Foundation, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, Google and more.
