I: agriculture finance: (e.g. Aceli africa, csaf, isf, raf ll)gdi's agriculture finance focus area aims to address challenges in The agriculture, sustainability, and climate sectors. Isf advisors publishes industry leading research alongside financial and strategic advisory work to mobilize capital towards a more sustainable, equitable, and productive Global food system. Aceli africa is a first of its kind market incentive facility aligning capital supply and demand to mobilize $1.5 billion in private sector lending to small and medium enterprises in The african agriculture sector by 2030. Csaf is The leading Global network of lending practitioners promoting an inclusive finance market for agricultural smes. Through these initiatives and other related efforts in The agriculture finance portfolio, gdi brings together diverse players from across agriculture, finance, and climate, who otherwise may have never collaborated despite their shared goals.
Iii: health: (e.g. Leapfrog to value, mental health, disability impact fund, health enabled, business for health solutions, nepi)gdi's health portfolio focuses on moving from volume to value and cuts across issues ranging from mental health to community livelihoods, digital health systems, and everything in between. The leapfrog to value report and initiative has led to a portfolio of pilots designed to improve outcomes and cost-effectiveness of health systems. The Global digital health monitor is a data platform that helps countries to benchmark, prioritize, and monitor digital health progress at The country, regional, and Global levels. In The lead-up to its launch, it was adopted by 62 countries representing more than 2.5 billion people globally. Nurturefirst is a Global funder and capacity builder bringing together thinkers, doers, and activists to improve The systems that support home-based childcare (hbcc) providers globally so they can provide evidence-based, affordable, culturally relevant childcare wherever they are.

Climate and ecosystems (resilient water accelerator, colibri catalyst, circularity platform) and other ventures (jobs & livelihoods, financing impact)gdi's climate and ecosystems portfolio is taking a systemic approach to climate action by supporting both climate adaptation and mitigation efforts, with a focus on asia and africa. Gdi is currently incubating The resilient water accelerator to mobilize public-private capital to implement water projects that help The most climate-vulnerable communities build resilience. Colibri is a blended finance facility focused on catalyzing nature-based climate solutions and aiming to demonstrate how they can drive financial returns. Partnering with The ikea foundation, gdi is exploring The feasibility of building a fund and platform (circularity) for supporting promising waste enterprises/initiatives across The value chain in both The formal and informal waste sectors.

The release of The report catalyzing smallholder agricultural finance in september 2012 by The Global Development Incubator, authored by dalberg with support from The aspen institute, citi foundation and skoll foundation, has helped to focus banks, investors, donors and companies on meeting The financing needs of smallholder farmers around The world.
The initiative for innovative finance aims to enable The growth of bankable investments for Development, starting with an initial flagship report to establish a common language, determine what has worked and what has not worked, and identify scalable models for public and private investors.
Healthenabled facilitates Development of national integrated digital health systems in low- and middle-income countries. The organization works with a range of stakeholders to align national policies, sustainable programs, and user needs.
