Program areas at The Guatemala Project
The Guatemala Project spreads awareness and raises funds for The purpose of providing shelter, clothing, food and health services to The underprivileged families of Guatemala. In 2023, 16 homes were built, one house was repaired, 216 food bags were distributed, two families were sponsored for food provisions, and 28 children were sponsored (receiving school supplies, tuition, uniforms, shoes, food, clothing and bedding). In addition, 3 water filters were provided for families. These projects were accomplished with The help of service teams comprised of a total of 86 volunteers.
Other program expense: travel expense for volunteers.
