CARE FOR THE POOR AND VULNERABLE: HAITI - Funded the care of 16 orphans in the orphanage operated by our Haitian partner organization. Funded feeding programs for 600 vunerable children in eight communities. Funded education programs (teacher pay, uniforms and school supplies) in ten communities. SOUTH ASIA - Funded after school care and educational resources for a child development center serving over 150 children in a remote agrigicultural community.
LEADER SUPPORT: HAITI - Provided monthly support for eight pastors and leaders in Haiti. SOUTH ASIA - Provided monthly finanical support for a full-time pastor in India doing church planting and pastor training.
CHURCH PLANTING & DEVELOPMENT: HAITI - Funded monthly training sessions for Haitian pastors and leaders. Funded the SCH annual convention and pastor/leader training conference. SOUTH ASIA - Funded purchase of equipment and capital items for a church in Uttar Pradesh. Funded the purchase of two motocycles for remote pastors. Funded education and support for student interns and support for field workers. Funded training for pastors in India and Nepal.
Grants and assistance to other domestic organizations with common charitable purpose.
RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT: Haiti - Provided regular food assisitance for widows who were particularly vulnerable. Funded supply of clean water for a community without access to a water source. SOUTH ASIA - Funded purchase of emergency food and relief items for families affected by floods in Uttar Pradesh region, India.
