Description
The Harvest Fund Ltd. works with marginalized women's farming cooperatives in Zambia, funding them with climate-smart training and tools to increase their income. The organization has trained 75 Zambian rural women, and half of the group has seen a 228% increase in income. The fund has also ensured that villagers are able to farm enough to consume 2-3 meals per day, no longer being malnourished, and transformed women from a life of farming-to-survive to farming-as-a-business.
