Advocacythe Harvest Institute is a public policy, research and educational organization that advocates for black america and promotes group-based concepts and strategies that encourage greater group economic self-sufficiency. The Institute follows The powernomics national plan which encourages black communities to pool their resources, build communities and to produce businesses, industries and jobs. The Harvest Institute had an impact on black communities and The nation in 2021. Many communities, organizations and individuals have adopted powernomics principles and have created activities and programs to encourage self-sufficiency, entrepreneurship and to generally increase The contributions of The group. Many of The issues we have promoted for over 20 years and now being discussed mainstream.
Education programthe Institute uses its consultations, lectures, and electronic media to communicate its educational message. Radio and television appearances are important vehicles for disseminating The instructional message of The Harvest Institute. The institutes web site is a source of educational information and a means of communication with The public, policy makers and constituents. Dr. anderson, president of The Harvest Institute and board members engage in advocacy activity and are The primary trainers, spokespersons and instructors. Dr. anderson and The board members work with groups that wish to learn more about The powernomics national plan, its strategies and principles and to structure powernomics community projects. The institutes staff is primarily volunteer.
