Program areas at The Healing Center
Provide food, clothing, referrals to community resources, job coaching, mentoring, cohorts, financial assistance, transportation programs, health services, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) training, and classes related to educational, emotional, relational, and spiritual development. 27,454 household visits.In partnership with the Cincinnati Public Schools Aspire Program, the Healing Center's ESOL program was awarded the non-profit of the year distinction in the ESOL category. Through Community Resource Connections we connected 1,693 households to community resources to help meet various needs. We were also able to connect with 451 Spanish speaking households for the same purpose.
