Global classroom initiatives: led by secretary cynthia hunt in usa, canada and indian k-12 schools and institutes of higher learning which Help build global citizens who are capable of poverty and dislocation in The future. Activities include 60 days of teaching units, seminar and workshops at 9 schools/institutes in north america and 60 days of inquiry based learning and whole health activities in 10 schools and youth associations in india. Participants work toward exchanging it-based project based learning units throughout The winter. The Help Fund maintains control of project funds, works with vetted 'partners- and has sole discretion on expenditure of funds in order to further The organization's purposes.
Whole health research-to-action; led by secretary cynthia hunt in ladakh, j&k state, india, which involves studying The critical thinking capacity and mental, physical and social health of a group of children and youth in remote himalayan villages in ladakh. The work informs The Fund's community development projects in order to enhance outcomes and lessen unemployment and mental health issues in at-risk youth in ladakh. Community development in india: led by cynthia hunt in ladakh, j&k state india, which involves investing in locally-designed projects focusing on: 1)leadership camps for 500+ at-risk youth in 6 ladakh communities offering team sports inquiry based learning, traditional and it skills and leadership counseling. 2)design and implementation of emergency first aid program; training a cross-departmental team of 12 certified efa responders, producing a training video in local language and using team to train over 700 health and education staff in leh district, ladakh. 3)seed libraries for farming cooperatives in 2 villages. 4)production of health learning materials on nutrition and hepatitis b in local languages. Supported health Inc's development and leadership and mental wellbeing projects by working with canadian partners, spending time in classrooms and in youth sports programmes, and designing education materials to use in leadership camps in The himalayas. Training of three persons, serving 7 schools and 6 youth groups with over 320 students and 120 youth in two provinces of canada, whilepreparing participants to bring skills back to ladakh, india for service to remote village children and youth struggling to access sports, mental wellness information and youth leadership programs.
Project developed skills of seven young ladakhis through fellowships and partnerships with indian and international ngos to use it to provide universal access to education, health and animal health, market and weather information for yak hearders in eastern ladakh and women's health, mental wellness and rights for girls and women in remote areas of ladakh. The project produced 18 local-language videos on a youtube channel and on amaze.org page.
Training for health Inc and other partner organizations among The 55 countries and 240 members in The omprakash network for developing organizational skills, especially evaluation and assessments, documentation and reporting, with special emphasis on health Inc and south asian partner skills-development, with a follow up grant for one or more young health Inc entrepreneurs to develop their service to their home community.
