Program areas at The Holland Project
All age events (an average of 16 per month) reaching more than 10,000 youth (aged 13-26) in The truckee meadows. Events include live music, workshops and classes, gallery exhibits and art events, spoken word and poetry events, city-wide special events, film presentations, dance events, band recordings, forums, and speaker presentations. Due to covid-19 crisis, organization had to pivot their programs to provide more education, workshop, speaking and discussion opportunities, virtual exhibitions and music, hybrid in-person/virtual camps and afterschool programs, community radio projects, blog series and publications, and spending more hours in community aid and volunteer service as a team.
