Program areas at The Home Builders Association of Billings Montana
The Home Builders Association of Billings provides The Billings school district with a learn-by-doing vocational education forum. Each year 100-plus high school students build a house which is then put on The market and sold to fund The following year's project. The project is funded by The Home Builders Association of Billings and all aspects of construction are led by hba volunteer members. The program, in line with The hba's education mission, teaches children valuable career skills they take with them after graduation and helps The industry by providing a source for construction labor. Currently, there are 2 lots - one with current construction, and one for future construction.
