With the mission of marketing Lee County, business development line items include expenses such as the quarterly business survey Enterprise Florida Sponsorship (EFI). Business expenses include prospect visits, fundraising, promotional items and website management tools. EFI is a public-private partnership between Florida business and government leaders and its principal goal to expand the regions economy through job creation and by promoting Lee County as a destination business location.
The Foundation supports and participates in the activities of the Horizon Council and the Lee County Economic Development Office to retain and promote Southwest Florida as a business destination through sophisticated marketing efforts to strategically attract and retain companies that do or will do business in and with Lee County.
