Program areas at The House
The House, Inc. builds capabilities in youth by equipping pre-teens and teens with the skills and tools they need to achieve the potential for their own success, offering a better on ramp to higher education and career preparedness through leadership development, academic enrichment, upskilling programs, and total health initiatives. The House, Inc.'s HANGRY Truck is a mobile food market and street kitchen. This anti-hunger initiative addresses real commmunity problems and brings food assistance and hot meals to food insecure children and families in neighborhoods overlooked by traditional systems impacted by long-standing inequalities. Because of The House, Inc.'s guidance, EmpowerMEnt (Trademarked) connects relevant education for the development of youth as global leaders. A developed social justice initiative, the National Capital A Cinderella Ball, is a youth advocacy capstone project of The House, Inc.
