Program areas at The Hub Center for Seniors

Faith in Action helps seniors remain independent in their homes through a variety of free and voluteer-based services. These services include minor home repairs, yard and housework, senior food commodities, a walk-in food pantry, free medical lending library referals and advocacy. They own and operate a senior activity center that hosts a large variety of fitness, social opportunities, nutritional programs, life betterment and support groups that contribute to the well being of seniors lives. In addition, they host multi-generational activities for the whole community including holiday events. These events contribute to the betterment of the fabric of the whole community. They give out clothing, shower tokens, hygiene bags, household goods, tents sleeping bags, furniture and other necessary items to low-income people in the area.
