Program areas at The Hypoglycemia Research Foundation
The Hypoglycemia Support Foundation, Inc., was created to inform, Support and encourage hypoglycemics and the public about this too often misunderstood and misdiagnosed disease. This organization has shown how poor nutritional habits and severe nutritional deficiencies affect ones emotional and physical health. The president, roberta ruggiero, is a frequent guest on radio and television and a well-known speaker, which enables the Hypoglycemia Support Foundation to bring their message to the international corporate, medical and educational communities. Presently, roberta is finishing up two new books and designing a program for schools on the food/mood connection. Her biggest challenge, she feels, is evaluating and publishing her findings on the 5,000 plus responses to her hypoglycemia/diabetes survey.
