TRAIING AND EDUCATION 1.1.Core Content of Clinical Breastfeeding Medicine Course via Webinar This 5-day course is a 30-hour intensive course covering the core, essential topics of breastfeeding and lactation medicine. This is an appropriate course for physicians, other providers, medical students and physicians-in-training who want to elevate their support for breastfeeding dyads in their practice, and/or who are beginning their specialty training in breastfeeding and lactation medicine. 2.IABLE had a teaching contract in 2023 for Midwest WIC, which is a group of state WIC departments that come together to receive an educational grant from the USDA. The Midwest WIC group uses this educational grant to contract with various organizations/companies such as us to teach breastfeeding courses for their employees. 3.Substance Use Disorder Conference This educational series focused on substance use and opioid use during lactation. Our goal in this 3 part series was to address various socioeconomic, legal, and healthcare factors that impact lactation care and support for individuals throughout pregnancy, and for dyads during the intrapartum and postpartum periods.
