Program areas at The Inter-American Restoration Corporation

Through torch missions, irc facilitated 8 mission teams from The united states comprising of approximately 275 volunteers. These teams built 65 houses and passed out over 210,000 meals, to approximately 3,500 families in tegucigalpa and santa ana, honduras.
Through The honduras project, irc provided humanitarian relief in The form of providing school supplies for over 750 children in and around tegucigalpa, honduras. The honduras project also facilitated The sponsorship of 6 students in bilingual education. We also constructed homes for families in need in cooperation with multiple other ngos including, torch missions, mountain top ministries, breaking chains, casa lamb, mi esperanza, project world and The union christian church - tegucigalpa. The honduras project was also blessed with The opportunity to work alongside mi esperanza for The start of renovations to The "sarah hart school of cosmetology" to be completed early 2024.
Irc has operated a medical clinic since 2007 in santa ana, honduras called clinica de esperanza. In 2023 The clinic served approximately 4,003 patients with a staff of 6, as well as 778 patients in mobile clinics. Clothes, feminine hygiene products, hygiene supplies, baby supplies, glasses and bibles were distributed from The clinic. Maternal bags (82) were distributed to The escuela hospital. 150 meals were supplied to The patients of The families at The hospital. 2 schools were provided with school supplies, The chosen series (in spanish) was shown to The local community at The clinic. Three autism agencies were visited to determine needs. Eldercare made 37 visits. Clothing was provided for The town of aragua. One intern was trained at The clinic and local hospitals. Seven homes were built for The homeless. We refurbished a playground at juan lindo elementry. An 8-year-old was sponsored by The clinic to a private surgeon for a difficult healthcare issue.
4. Spanish missions had a busy year creating a new platform for our current students but also marketing our bible studies and courses to The next generation. The courses are now be easily accessible by phone and computer with The option to take The tests for each course from any device. We created a curriculum with 12 courses to start and we will be adding more in 2024. In The first 2 months, we had 75 new students around The world sign up for The course work. We were also able to give away thousands of copies of The trials books in honduras and other countries in central america. Spanish missions will be working to help all The r1t1 students get on a track to complete all The current courses in The online training program so they grow spiritually while they are learning how to develop skills to sustain them and their families physically. 5. In The dynamic landscape of 2023, r1t1, with its unwavering dedication and visionary approach, achieved remarkable milestones across multiple spheres, leaving an indelible mark on communities they serve. One of The pivotal accomplishments of The year was The installation of 10 water filters, a testament to r1t1's commitment to addressing The fundamental need for clean and safe drinking water and training in plumbing. This initiative not only enhanced health and well-being but also laid The groundwork for sustainable development in underserved areas. Concurrently, r1t1 ventured into new territory by launching a lumber business, igniting opportunities for economic empowerment and skills development. The establishment of this enterprise not only provided avenues for income generation but also nurtured creativity and craftsmanship within The students. Moreover, r1t1's dedication to advancing carpentry and painting techniques brought about tangible improvements in infrastructure and aesthetics. Through training programs and hands-on workshops, individuals were equipped with The skills and knowledge to transform their surroundings, fostering a sense of pride and ownership. In parallel, The establishment of a new school underscored r1t1's enduring commitment to education as a catalyst for change. This training school is serving as a beacon of hope, providing quality education and nurturing The potential of future generations. In addition to their efforts in education and entrepreneurship, r1t1 made significant strides in environmental sustainability through The initiation of aquaponics projects. By integrating aquaculture and hydroponics, these initiatives not only bolstered food security but also promoted eco-friendly farming practices. Through these innovative endeavors, r1t1 demonstrated their holistic approach to community development, addressing interconnected challenges with creativity and resourcefulness. Overall, r1t1's accomplishments in 2023 underscored their transformative impact on communities, enriching lives and laying The groundwork for a more sustainable and equitable future. Their tireless efforts serve as a beacon of inspiration, embodying The power of grassroots initiatives to effect positive change on a national scale. 6. The organization continued to oversee all program service accomplishments thru government relations and international law. Irc continues to be involved with ngos working in honduras and The honduran government. Irc managed property in honduras which houses its medical clinic and lodging accommodations for medical interns, retreats for honduran faith-based groups, and torch mission groups. Irc assisted several communities in managing and preserving water wells and clean water delivery systems.
