Program areas at The Israel Institute

Campus teaching: campus teaching programs are The core area of action for The Israel Institute's work. These programs are designed to expand student access to high-quality courses about Israel at leading universities in The united states and abroad. Activities include bringing israeli scholars to teach at u.s. and canadian campuses for semester-long, annual, and multi-year placements as visiting faculty or postdoctoral teaching fellows; sending israeli scholars to teach intensive courses about Israel at universities in other countries; and supporting The expansion of courses in Israel studies among established professors and universities.
Academic ecosystem programs support our campus teaching programs at u.s. Campuses through workshops for professors to improve pedagogy and workshops for leading undergraduates interested in learning more about Israel.
