The Foundation was established on october 15, 2001 to provide children with high quality, affordable after-school programs to help them reach their full potential. Through collaboration, funding, and volunteer support, The Foundation worked with national providers of after-school care to raise awareness of The need for after-school programs. The Foundation is currently organized and operated to celebrate and serve america's diverse, working families today by offering access to skill-building and resources that allow everyone to thrive. To meet this goal, The Foundation invests in leading nonprofits making strides in three critical areas: job readiness, health & well being and inclusive access to education.
