Program areas at The JP Home

Community Service: We provide a much needed community service by providing a place for men in recovery to live until they are able to provide their own place by their own means. These men would otherwise be on the street, homeless without our services it.encourages new patterns of social relationships and provides a support to help in the healing process from the disease of alcoholism. By exposing the men to other recovering men, together, they can regain self-respect, confidence, and a useful place in the community and to help attain sobriety through the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous
Purchasing the home that we use to house the men: By purchasing the home, we provide stability. In June of 2014 after 2% years of dedication and hard work in part from the board of director's and help from many volunteers through fundraising, we officially opened our doors in a § bed home that we rented. In November of 2017 after continued efforts in fundraising through several events held annually and continued support from the community we were able to secure a mortgage and purchase on our current 7 bed home
Social Service: We provide a meeting location for Alcoholics Anonymous. This space !s used a meeting place. At least once a week the AA community comes to the house. The men do not have to go outside their home to find a meeting. They are given an opportunity to fellowship and the share the spiritual values of other AA members, which is a vital part of recovery
