Program areas at The Junior League of Greater Prnctn
The Junior League of Greater Princeton's community outreach efforts focus on improving the welfare and empowerment of women and children in our service area. The goal of our childrens initiatives is to develop and execute programs, projects and activities that assist underprivileged children through educational activities, enrichment opportunities, and food and clothing drives. Our womens initiatives focus on implementing programs, projects and activities that help improve the self-sufficiency, quality of life and employment outcomes of at-risk women in the Greater Princeton area.
On an annual basis, the JLGP community grants program awards grants to help fund non-profit organizations located in the service area, which have a one-time need of goods or services for a specific program or purpose related to early childhood education and literacy. Also, the JLGP awards voluntarism scholarships annually to female high school seniors in the service area who have demonstrated a strong commitment to community service and voluntarism.
