Training and education - provide women in The community and The association The training and education necessary to promote volunteerism and community education. Sent members to fall forum (virtual), winter forum (virtual), and spring conference (in-person) held by The association of Junior leagues international (ajli).
Community impact - we focused on advocacy, capacity building, and direct service to our community partners: a. hamline-midway elders clean up events - help local neighbors stay in their home by volunteering to perform yard work (fall and spring).b. The link - purchased $1,000 of supplies and volunteered to pack food and street outreach kits for youth experiencing homelessness and/or who have been sexually exploited.c. Clare midtown - prepared and served breakfast to residents who have experienced long-term homelessness or at risk of homelessness.d. Women's advocates - collected $600 worth of gift cards to donate to victim-survivors in women's advocates shelter.e. Emma norton residence - we packed 45 "feeling cozy" theme christmas gift bags for residents and hosted a bingo night for current residents.f. Face to face - donated 12 kits to support youth ages 14-24 experiencing homelessness or at risk of being homeless.
