Program areas at The Kinsale Foundation
The Kinsale Foundation holds two fundraising silent auctions per year: Kinsale Day on the Foundation's anniversary and Christmas in Kinsale in December. Items for these two silent auctions are donated from members of the community and include furniture, household goods and handmade items, and donated baked goods. For Christmas in Kinsale, a significant amount of revenue comes from the sale of hundreds of dozens of cookies which are baked by the community and donated for the Foundation's cookie sale. When the funds are collected from the silent auctions and cookie sales, the proceeds are divided equally among the designated local charities. Program service expenses are printing and mailing costs to advertise the events. This specific event is Kinsale Day.
