Program areas at The Ladder Alliance

We offer several programs: Basic Computer Skills Training (BCST); Professional Office Skills Training (POST); Microsoft Office Specialist Training (MOST); QuickBooks Office Training (QBOT); and Next Level. POST broadens professional skills, including QuickBooks Basics as a core component, customer service classes taught by Tarrant County College instructors, public speaking, and other professional development topics. The Microsoft Office Specialist Training (MOST) course develops a technical understanding of the Microsoft programs and prepares students to sit for the globally recognized Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. QuickBooks Office Training (QBOT) provides an in depth training of QuickBooks allowing students to sit for an exam and earn a certification. Next Level, launched in 2022, supports current students, alumni, and community members with under-resourced backgrounds. The program includes seminars in English and Spanish, covering salary negotiation, Entrepreneurship 101, resume creation, mock interviews, and many other skill building tools needed to attain and keep a job.
