Program areas at The Lambs Farm
Clf support - clf support consists of an intermediate care facility as well as campus group homes. The intermediate care facility provides retirement-specific activities promoting wellness and an active lifestyle with staff available 24 hours a day. Group homes provide a community living environment where participants can learn living skills in a supportive environment. Housekeeping and meal preparation responsibilities are shared among The participants with staff support.
Vocational training - employment specialists provide on-the-job training and followalong support for individual placements in community employment. Training is provided for employers working with individuals placed is also available.
Training sites - through The various campus businesses (magnolia cafe & bakery, farmyard & attractions, pet shop, thrift shop and country store) participants receive training in food service, hospitality, store merchandising, customer service, shipping/receiving, animal care and food production. These businesses provide a vocational training site for participants.
Community residences - located in communities nearby The Lambs campus, community residences are home to participants desiring a more independent lifestyle. Residents receive support from staff and have access to Lambs Farm services.
Senior residence - The senior residence consists of individual apartment units for those desiring independent living in a campus environment.
Work center - The work center provides opportunities to individuals who need a more structured work environment. The work center is located near The Lambs Farm campus and specializes in subcontract jobs such as assembly, packaging, sorting and mailing services.
Recreation - recreation programs focus on healthy lifestyles, learning daily living skills, and developing hobbies and interests. These programs consist of a wellness center, fine arts program, quest day program and a wide variety of other social activities.
