The Lancaster LGBTQ Center advocates for the health, rights, and visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community in Lancaster County. The center's Heart program provides shelter for those in unaffirming environments and offers a warm-handoff service to housing and medical services. The center recently launched new space called The Loop Programming and also operates an emergency overnight shelter.

Advocating for The health, rights, and visibility of The lgbtqia+ community of Lancaster county.
The loop & programing
Heart program offers individuals sheltering in unaffirming environments a chance to live in a supportive home. Heart also offers a warm-handoff service to housing and medical services to provide emotional support for program participants. To further ensure resource providers are capable of providing culturally competent services, we provide cultural competency training to community stakeholders and potential partners around serving The LGBTQ+ population.
