Program areas at The Learning Center at Piper's Hill
The Learning Center at Piper's Hill offers education to four age groups of students, including infants, explorers, toddlers, and pre-k. The infant program is a twelve month program that enrolls babies ages six weeks to one year. The ratio of teachers to children is one to four. Class sizes are no larger than eight children. The curriculum includes cognitive skill exploration, sensory skills, fine and gross motor skills, vocalization skills, and socialization skills. Generic formula, infant cereal, and generic diapers are included in tuition.the toddler program is a twelve month program that enrolls children ages two to three years old. The ratio of teachers to children is one to four. Class sizes are no larger than eight children. The curriculum includes goals for cognitive development, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, self-help skills, social/emotional development, and language development. Lunch, snacks, and generic diapers are included in tuition.the explorer program is a twelve month program that enrolls children ages 12 months to 24 months. The ratio of teachers to children is one to four. Class sizes are no larger than eight children. The curriculum includes cognitive development, gross and fine motor skills, self help skills, social/emotional skills, and language development. Lunch and snacks are included in tuition (provided The child is on table foods). Generic diapers are also included. The preschool program is a two year program for children ages three to five. Class sizes range from twelve to twenty children with a teacher/child ratio of at least one to ten. The curriculum focuses on cognitive development (math, pre-reading, social studies, science), motor development (fine motor, gross motor, self-help skills), social/emotional development, and language development. Snacks and lunch are included in tuition.
