The Legacy Arts Project preserves the history and traditions of African art through a variety of programs. Students are taught to preserve the rich heritage of the African diaspora through song, dance, drumming, visual arts, lectures, and storytelling. The organization offers summer programs, Saturday programs, and events throughout the year. Additionally, Dance Africa is a multiple day celebration that includes dance workshops, performances, an African marketplace, and a community procession.
