The Legacy Project informs, inspires, enlightens, and fosters an appreciation for the extraordinary role gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people have played to advance world history and culture. The Legacy Walk is a rotating outdoor GLBT history exhibit in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Some of the plaques commemorate significant events in GLBT history, but most memorialize the lives and work of notable gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered individuals.
