The Links Central New Jersey Chapter, chartered on May 28, 1949, is a premier service organization committed to sustaining and ensuring the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. We believe that lower enrollment rates at colleges for minorities are due to differences in access to financial resources. Thus, we recognize that household wealth plays a critical role in paying for college since families tend to draw upon their wealth, take out mortgages and cash in stocks.
